A Pink Salt Lake found in a village called Niaga. The water turns pink during the dry season due to algae that produces a red pigment. The lake is a salt bank with about 3000 workers that manually collecting salt from dawn to dusk. Approximately 60,000 tons are extracted from Lac Rose each year.
